Program highlights
- Field trips to natural sites such as caves, waterfalls and mountain trails
- Water activities such as rowing and paddle boarding
- Visits to museums in one of the oldest cities in Europe (Plovdiv)
- Visits to historical places and archaeological sites such as ancient theatres, fortresses, and ruins
- Traditional craftsmanship workshops such as pottery, making jewellery and weaving

Questions & Answers
Yam Cooper – main instructor
Yam Cooper is an innovative educator, children’s author, artist, and musician. Utilizing his diverse skills in the arts and conscious pedagogy, Yam infuses his classes with fun, humour, and creativity. As cofounder of the non-profit Children for a Better Future Education Society, he helped create a unique children’s play centre in rural British Columbia, Canada and founded innovative travelling STEAM programs. He has taught writing, improv, art, music, science, life skills, nature education, and more in North America and Europe, and teaches visual and performing arts at the Iskra school in Plovdiv.
