All-day programme
At Iskra, we offer a full-day school day with an optimal balance between learning, self-study, rest and outdoor play time. Through it, children have the opportunity to gain effective academic knowledge and skills, and acquire real life skills.
Morning meeting
Each day starts with a morning class meeting or as the children like to call this time – “morning circle”. In addition to a smooth transition and time to adjust to the learning routine, circle time activities give children the opportunity to practice important social skills such as taking turns, listening to others, sharing ideas and expressing themselves.
Morning educational block
The morning education block focuses on subjects such as Bulgarian, English, mathematics and sports.
Afternoon educational block
In the afternoons the children create and develop their imaginations with art activities, music, an exploration programme, a literature club and self-study.
Free time
There is no school bell in Iskra! In each educational block, teachers and students have the opportunity to smoothly adjust learning and rest time so that it is optimally tailored to the rhythm and specifics of each age group.

8:00 – 8:30 – Reception of the children
8:30 – 9:00 – Morning meeting
9:00 – 12:00 – Morning educational block
12:00 – 13:00 – Time for lunch and outdoor games
13:00 – 16:30 – Afternoon educational block
